TRUTH SERIES 15: BECOME A LIGHT IN A DARKEST NATION

14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.
Our country is facing diverse problems; chief of them is electricity
power supply. Nigeria is producing just about 3,000mwatts of
electricity for its 140million while another African country of 80
million people is generating 45,000mwatts of electricity. Because of
this grossly inadequate power generation, Nigerian economy largely
depends on the use of alternative power source of generators, which
is quite costly and weighing down.
Arise and light up your world,Let your Light shine,Do something positive,Take an initiative,lead a change,seize an opportunity.see u next week.EMAIL YOUR COMMENTS TO ,dreamnewnigeria@yahoo.com,0803 443 8232

TAKE A STEP BEYOND YOUR ANGER : PART 2
We want to take a look at some other group of Nigerians who are angry ,also we will conclude it by what to do about our anger for some our economic situation we found ourselves.
The Lecturers are angry too because they feel that the people at the helms of affairs should know better ,like our president ,vice president and the Honorable minister who are all former lecturers, but there attitude shows that they only pay lips service to funding university education.
The entrepreneurs and business owners are also angry too because running their businesses with generators has been frustrating, considering the high cost of diesel, the cost of maintenance of the Generators couple with the noise and poisonous carbon monoxide gas emission. They feel there is nothing to celebrate about our 49th independence.
The employees too are angry because their take home Pay does not take them any longer. Some spends about 60% of their salary on transport.
Should we all be angry? Is it ok or normal for us to be angry? Is their any thing we can do about our anger? The answers are yes. We should not stop at been angry alone; we should all go further to do some thing positive about our anger within our sphere of power and influence. To be candid too, I am also angry about the situation of things in my country, But I took the initiative to write this article to challenge Nigerians to do something Positive about their individual anger. If we all do that, then the process of change has been ignited .God bless Nigeria.
see u next week!

TAKE A STEP BEYOND YOUR ANGER : PART 1
As we celebrate the 49th independence of our great Nation Nigeria. It is obvious that Most Nigerians are angry about one Situations or the other. Every group of Nigerians has a cause to be angry about a situation or the other. If it is not education, then it is power failure, if it is not sports then it is bad roads and kidnappings. If it is not strike, then it is unemployment, the police and so on. Let’s take a look at what could be the cause of the anger of each group of Nigerians that makes up the population.
The secondary students are angry that they cannot resume school after their long break because their teachers are on strike.
The undergraduates are not happy too because that have been at home for up to four months because their Lecturers are also on strike, and the university are shut, while their counter part in the private universities are in session, to add to it , our President went to open a new university in a far away country also blessed with the same crude oil we are blessed with too.
fresh students who just graduated are not happy too because they cannot be mobilized for NYSC after months of graduation because the nation universities are on strike.
Nigerians are tired of buying fuel for their generators every day, as if they are filling their gallons with water, which no man can do without. It is now a fact that Nigerians buy more fuel in gallons than filling the gallons with water. The abnormal has become normal. God should just help us.
Most Nigerian youths who just completed the NYSC, are angry too because they can’t get the jobs even after years of their passing out. There is some thing we should be able to do about our anger. Becoming angry alone will not take us anywhere further.Should we all be angry? Is it ok or normal for us to be angry? Is there any thing we can do about our anger? see you in the next series for the concluding part.God bless Nigeria!for comments mail to ,dreamnewnigeria@yahoo.com,0803 443 8232

TRUTH SERIES 9: CHANGE YOUR FOCUS.
Most times, we blame our leaders and Government if things don’t work. when there are no good roads, no jobs ,no light, no water and even when the environment are dirty ,we blame the government. It is true that Our leaders in Government are some times guilty , but not all the time, You and I sometimes are part of the of the problems. But if things must change and if we have to achieve the Nigeria of our dream, we have to quit the blame game and shift focus to our individual initiatives to make a change.
The truth we have to know is that Great Nation are not made by the Great Government but by the efforts and contributions of Great citizens like you and I. We have to shift our focus to how we can develop and position ourselves to develop our nation Nigeria. You need to ask yourselves the following questions if you genuinely want to become an Agent and catalyst of change in our National Rebirth.
A, what positive change can I make?
B, what can I contribute to make a difference?
C, what business can I start to be self employed ?
D, what opportunities can I take advantage of ?
E, How can I make my dream a reality?
F, what positive steps can I make to actualize my dream?
G, what positive values do I have to offer?
I f you can sincerely answered all these questions, then you will see reasons why you have a part to play in National Transformation .Also a demand will be place on you as an individual to develop yourself to develop our dear Nation Nigeria.
As we celebrate the 50th independence of our great nation Nigeria, make a decision to stop focusing on Government if things don’t work , but rather take up the challenge to look within yourself to bring out a solution.
When we focus on Government for everything, we will only complain ,talk & analyzes problems , see scarcity, challenges, obstacles ,problems and so on. But if we do other wise by focusing on ourselves, we will see opportunities, ideas, change, and solutions and so on. This is the new mentality and one of the truths every Nigerians youth needs to know.

TRUTH SERIES 8-DIRECT OUR NOBLE CAUSE
As we look into the virtues of the 2nd stanza of our National Anthem,Hope u were inspire and challenge by the previous write up on the topic.which focuses on the first line: OH GOD OF CREATION!
In this week edition we will be taking look at the 2nd line,I pray that as u read ,u will develop a new passion to take on a Noble cause for the sake of rebuilding our dear Nation.
DIRECT OUR NOBLE CAUSE
Every Patriotic citizen that wants her Nation to experience greatness must definitely be involved in a Noble Cause. Many of our leaders have a selfish Personal interest against the National interest, which has been the bane of our Predicament as a Nation. A Noble cause is a worthy Cause.God is looking for faithful and Righteous Men He wants to commit the Noble cause of rebuilding this nation, we can be that man today. Our Noble cause should be to build a Nation where peace and justice will reign, to build a Nation we will all be proud of.
We all wish Nigeria could be a better Place, but very few patriotic citizens go beyond wishing to take action, most times we look onto our leaders but we have a part to play and a role to act which is the Noble cause. Nehemiah had a Noble cause to rebuild the Wall of Jerusalem. God directed him and He actualized God‘s plans for Jerusalem, David was in a mission of Noble cause when He risked his life to fight Goliath and by this the Israelites were delivered for the Philistines. So shall it be for us as a country if God can direct all our Noble cause towards the rebuilding of a New Nigeria of our Dream where it will be the desire of foreigners to come in and live in.
Our Prayer is for God to make each and everyone of be involved in a Noble cause and to direct our strengths, ideas, passions and efforts to build the New Nigeria we all desire. There is a Noble cause God has called us as Christians to be involved in, Let us prayerfully discover it today.
see u in the next series as we go into the next prayer point, which is GUIDE OUR LEADERS RIGHT.
PASS THIS WRITE UP TO AT LEAST FIVE PPLE.LET THE CHAIN OF CHANGE CONTINUE WITH YOU.
NIGERIA HAS A GREAT FUTURE,LETS HAVE A DIFFERENT ATTITUDE!
I will like to hear your views and comments.

TRUTH SERIES 7:THE POWER OF THE 2ND STANZA
Let’s take a look at the 2nd stanza of our National Anthem .Its wonderful to know the power it carries.
Oh God of creation,
Direct our noble cause
Guide our leaders right
Help our youths the truth to know
In love and honesty to grow
And living just and true
Great lofty heights attain
To build a nation where peace
And justice shall reign.
It’s so amazing that Nigeria is one of the country in the world that has a legislated and constituted anthem of prayers. Let us analyze it line by line. This shows that God has great destiny for our nation, but it’s a pity that we are where we are today. But in the midst of all the corruption, kidnappings, killings, injustice, poverty and embezzlement. There is hope for us if only God can answer all our Prayer requests in the 2nd stanza of the Anthem. Then our present predicaments will be a thing of the past.Lets analyze the first line "OH GOD OF CREATION"
OH GOD OF CREATION.
And the children of Israelite cried unto God, And HE Heard their cry. EXO 2:23-24
This first line symbolizes a cry and call unto God for help. Any country that must make meaningful economic and infrastructural development must make God their foundation and source of help. Only Righteousness can exalt a Nation. As we turn to God of creation for help, He will turn the destiny of our Nation around as He did for the Israelite.
I believe u have been challenge by this short write up. See u in the next series as we analyze the 2nd line “DIRECT OUR NOBLE CAUSE” .Keep on making a difference Nigeria is more than map, it is you and I that make up Nigeria.
The wealth of Nigeria is not in her oil but is in you and I.We are the greatest asset of our Nation.

TRUTH SERIES 6: S/A 2010 IT IS NOT YET OVER
I want to dedicate this week truth series to lift the spirit of Nigerians on the hope of Super eagles to be at south Africa 2010,why are things fallen apart for us ,its used to be our power, our education, our banking before and now our football again,to many Nigerians the super eagles are now super chickens, but I want to encourage you not to lose hope, though our chances may look very slim, but I still believe Nigeria flag will fly at south Africa 2010.I don't know how it will happen, but I believe it can happen, never say never.we have put ourselves in a tight corner for God to prove Himself,so that we can thank Him for our qualification,Let us keep hope alive.
what they have to do
1, The players need to play with more fighting spirit, they have the skills, but the fighting spirit is missing.
2, They need to play as a team.
3, They must imagine and have a picture in their mind playing in the world cup.
what we have to do.
1, In spite of all odds, though it may be very difficult to still believe in our super eagles, but we just have to remain patriotic and give them our full support that they can still make it happen.
It is not yet over.
starting from Next week,we will be focusing on the power of the 2nd stanza of our National Anthem.

TRUTH SERIES 5:CREATING NEW NIGERIA WITH OUR WORDS
" In the beginning, when God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was formless wasteland, and darkness covered the abyss, while a mighty wind swept over the waters, then God said," Let there be light," and there was light."- (Genesis1: 1-3)
The above Bible quotation is a reminder that the first creation happened through the spoken Word, Furthermore, the unchanging nature of the creating forces indicating that man's true nature is also unchangeable.
God has also given man the creative power through the word. Everyone including you has the power to speak positive words, but sometimes we choose to speak negatively because we have develop a negative mental attitude towards a situation. Words have the power to build us up or tear us down or even the change the situations around us.
Because of many challenges facing our Country(Nigeria),Most times ,the people speak negatively against our leaders, the government and the future of the country.words like Nigeria is jagajaga,I cant make in Nigeria,it cant never change,it is not possible and so on does not take us any where further rather it draws backward.it is true that some of our leaders might be guilty, but speaking negatively does not move us ahead an inch.
If we pray for our country,we also need to speak positively, our words are powerful, because it also pushes also to go ahead to do positive actions.Inspite of our challenges
let us all keep hope alive.let us create the new Nigeria we want to see and live in by our words.Let us all have a different attitude like Caleb, in spite of the giants in the land ,He said they are well able to go and take over the land, and they did.
You can change your world by changing your words... Remember, death and life are in the power of the tongue.
Joel Osteen
God bless Nigeria.

TRUTH SERIES 4-WHAT ARE YOU SEEING ? OBSTACLE OR OPPORTUNITY
TRUTH SERIES 4-WHAT ARE YOU SEEING ? OBSTACLE OR OPPORTUNITY
Two sales men who work for a shoe company were sent on a market survey in a village with a population of about 30,000 people. The two sales men came back with two different reports .They both got to the village and discovered the people their don’t wear shoe, sales man A reported that since the people don’t wear shoes, there is no need shipping shoes to the village. He concluded that the company should look else where to expand the market. while sales man B reported that since the people don’t wear shoes, that it’s a great opportunity for them to expand their market to the village and also ship more shoes to the village. The difference between marketer A and B is that one saw obstacle while the other saw opportunity to make more money and make a difference the lives of the people.
The same scenario is what is happening in our country, while many Nigerians are waiting at the different embassies to travel out of the country ,many foreign business men are coming in to settle down to set up and run businesses because they have discover a huge opportunities. nkon ta wa lo si sokoto ,wa ni sokoto wa ( A Yoruba saying) meaning what we are looking for a far of is right where we are.
What are you seeing? Are you seeing challenges or opportunities? Because in the midst of our numerous problems lies solution if we can see. Indeed there are many problems around because there are many Nigerians too around to provide the solutions.
Let us Quit the blame game and take up the challenge to see and think differently.
I pray that God will open the eyes of Nigerian Youths to see. Amen

TRUTH SERIES 2-PRAYERS FOR NIGERIA
If my people who are called by my name , will humble themselves and pray and seek my face ,and turn from their wicked ways ,I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their Land.
The first line of the second stanza of our National Anthem goes thus" O God of Creation",this implies that we are God's people and our nation is a God's own nation. prayer is communicating to God,in other words, it is asking God for something with intense yearning. As our nation faces many challenges,it is obvious that we need a spiritual touch for national restoration and rebirth.because it seems what we are passing through as a nation is beyond human wisdom.
I was listening to US secretary of state ,hilary Clinton,on her recent visit to kenya, when she said "Nigeria is the 6th largest producer of crude oil but the country still import fuel",she does not understand why it is so,neither do I too as a citizen.it is a sorry situation.I dont understand why we cant explore and refine our fuel, why cant our refineries work?why cant we implement our budget well?why cant we generate our electricity? we have all the dams, gas ,wind and sunlight.but still we can only generate around 3megawatts of electricity. we indeed need God to help us,we cant continue like this.Andrew Bonar once said There is no hope but in prayer.our only hope now lies in our prayers.
fellow compatriots,A t this point ,it is true that we are the most religious nation,we need to consciously and genuiely remember our nation in our daily prayers ,prayers changes things it makes the worst situation to become better.Everyday we should also let our words be positive to correspond with our prayers. If it well with Nigeria,it will be well with Nigerians as well.If God can hear the cry of the isrealites ,I believe He will hear us too,in our own very eyes tranmsformation will begin to take place one by one.so shall it be IJN.-amen
we should pray like this:
A, O God , Guide our leaders’ right
B, O God , Help our youths the truth to know.
C, O God , help us to live in love and honesty to grow.
D, O God ,help us to attain great height
E, O God , help us to build a nation where there will be peace and Justice.
