TRUTH SERIES 4-WHAT ARE YOU SEEING ? OBSTACLE OR OPPORTUNITY

TRUTH SERIES 4-WHAT ARE YOU SEEING ? OBSTACLE OR OPPORTUNITY

Two sales men who work for a shoe company were sent on a market survey in a village with a population of about 30,000 people. The two sales men came back with two different reports .They both got to the village and discovered the people their don’t wear shoe, sales man A reported that since the people don’t wear shoes, there is no need shipping shoes to the village. He concluded that the company should look else where to expand the market. while sales man B reported that since the people don’t wear shoes, that it’s a great opportunity for them to expand their market to the village and also ship more shoes to the village. The difference between marketer A and B is that one saw obstacle while the other saw opportunity to make more money and make a difference the lives of the people.

The same scenario is what is happening in our country, while many Nigerians are waiting at the different embassies to travel out of the country ,many foreign business men are coming in to settle down to set up and run businesses because they have discover a huge opportunities. nkon ta wa lo si sokoto ,wa ni sokoto wa ( A Yoruba saying) meaning what we are looking for a far of is right where we are.

What are you seeing? Are you seeing challenges or opportunities? Because in the midst of our numerous problems lies solution if we can see. Indeed there are many problems around because there are many Nigerians too around to provide the solutions.

Let us Quit the blame game and take up the challenge to see and think differently.

I pray that God will open the eyes of Nigerian Youths to see. Amen

For quite some time now.The Honorable minister of information and communication, Prof Dora Akunyili has embark on the project of the REbranding the image of our country ( Nigeria) .

The world has label and brand us 419ners,Drug pushers,Human traffickers,Corrupt People and all sorts of demeaning labels.just because of the actions and inactions of few Nigerians. If out of 140million people ,only few are corrupt ,it does make us a corrupt Nation.

A Nigerian will not be allowed to arrive a country without a thorough security search and security agents will even follow him about till he leaves that country. Nigerians will not be accepted by paypal or clickbank ,the largest payment processor and digital product bank respectively on the internet.

what the world has called or brand us is not who we truly are.

That is our true identity:

Nigerians are Hospitable

Nigerians are intelligent

Nigerians are Hardworking

Nigerians are creative

Nigerians are talented

Nigerians are Trustworthy.

Nigerians are Great people.

This has been proved in so many ways ,where young and old Nigerians all over the world have set record breaking achievements in sports,Arts ,Literature ,Dancing ,computer. medicals, and so on.It is also in record that all over the world Nigerians are the best professionals in Medical,Sports,Lawyers, nursing and so on.

TRUTH SERIES 2-PRAYERS FOR NIGERIA

If my people who are called by my name , will humble themselves and pray and seek my face ,and turn from their wicked ways ,I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their Land. -2Chron 7 v14

The first line of the second stanza of our National Anthem goes thus" O God of Creation",this implies that we are God's people and our nation is a God's own nation. prayer is communicating to God,in other words, it is asking God for something with intense yearning. As our nation faces many challenges,it is obvious that we need a spiritual touch for national restoration and rebirth.because it seems what we are passing through as a nation is beyond human wisdom.

I was listening to US secretary of state ,hilary Clinton,on her recent visit to kenya, when she said "Nigeria is the 6th largest producer of crude oil but the country still import fuel",she does not understand why it is so,neither do I too as a citizen.it is a sorry situation.I dont understand why we cant explore and refine our fuel, why cant our refineries work?why cant we implement our budget well?why cant we generate our electricity? we have all the dams, gas ,wind and sunlight.but still we can only generate around 3megawatts of electricity. we indeed need God to help us,we cant continue like this.Andrew Bonar once said There is no hope but in prayer.our only hope now lies in our prayers.

fellow compatriots,A t this point ,it is true that we are the most religious nation,we need to consciously and genuiely remember our nation in our daily prayers ,prayers changes things it makes the worst situation to become better.Everyday we should also let our words be positive to correspond with our prayers. If it well with Nigeria,it will be well with Nigerians as well.If God can hear the cry of the isrealites ,I believe He will hear us too,in our own very eyes tranmsformation will begin to take place one by one.so shall it be IJN.-amen

we should pray like this:

A, O God , Guide our leaders’ right

B, O God , Help our youths the truth to know.

C, O God , help us to live in love and honesty to grow.

D, O God ,help us to attain great height

E, O God , help us to build a nation where there will be peace and Justice.

QUOTE FOR THE WEEK

Prayer does not change God, but it changes him who prays.
