TRUTH SERIES 36-PREPARING FOR SUCCESS in 2011-PT 2

GETTING READY FOR SUCCESS

There are a series of things that you can do to become ready for success. All of these activities require self-discipline and a great deal of faith. They require self-discipline because the most normal and natural thing for people to do is to try to get by without preparation.

YOU MUST HAVE FAITH

Success most times are not attain at the beginning and at first attempt. Sometimes you have to keep on doing what you believe in until a desired result is achieved. To increase our passion for success ,a lot of faith is needed as we prepare for success i.e a strong believe in our actions towards fulfilling a set goal.

Preparation also requires a lot of faith because you have no guarantee that your preparation will pay off. You simply have to believe, deep within yourself, that everything you do of a constructive nature will come back to you in some way.

You have to know that a good effort is never wasted. You have to be willing to sow for a long time before you reap, knowing that if you do sow in quality and quantity, the reaping will come about inevitably with force of a law of nature.

FOCUS ON YOUR STRENGTH

In preparing for success, one of the very best questions that you can ask yourself, continually, is: What can I do, that if done well, will make a difference in my career? Your ability to honestly appraise yourself and to identify the particular skill area that may be holding you back is critical for your future success.avoid those areas that you dont enjoy because youre not particularly good at them. It requires faith and character for you to admit your weaknesses in a particular area and then resolve to go to work to develop yourself so those weaknesses dont hold you back.

GET INFORMED

One of the greatest changes that has ever taken place in our society happened in 1989 when the world changed from the Industrial Age to the Information Age. We are now living in an information-based society. Because of the internet and other technological advances more than 60 percent of the working population is in the business of processing information in some way.

This means that we now are living in a knowledge-based society and you have to be a person of knowledge if youre going to succeed. To succeed you must be able to work with your mind, your mental talents and abilities. Gone are the days of laboring in the factories and the mills.

THINKING

In a way your thoughts are connected with your success. You must first succeed inside your thoughts before you succeed in the physical world. Today you can succeed only by thinking, and the more effectively you think and the better prepared you are mentally, the more productive and positive youll be.mind you, if you must think, think out of the box, think possibility ,think creative.

READING

One of the most important things you can do to prepare yourself for success is to set aside one to two hours each day to read something uplifting. It will amaze you that He who does not read is not different from him who cannot read. Read material that is educational, motivational, or inspirational. If you spend at least one hour each day investing in your mind, taking in mental protein reading good books, business magazines, trade journals, and newsletters.

See you for the concluding part as u get prepare to succeed in 2011.

TRUTH SERIES 35-PREPARING FOR SUCCESS 1

PREPARING FOR SUCCESS 1

There is a quotation by Abraham Lincoln made when he was a young lawyer in Springfield, Illinois. He said, I will study and prepare myself, and someday my chance will come.

In my own words, I see success like an occasion or an examination we must prepare for.

Lets Ponder a little bit, what comes to your mind when you hear the word success? What then is success?

Success is simply achieving set goals or getting what we desired.

Success is having results i.e Positive.

Success is also becoming who will dream or desired to become.

Everyone wants to be successful. Everyone wants to have more, be more, do more, and enjoy more of what life has to offer. Everyone wants to be successful. But very few people want to engage in the rigorous hard work, hour after hour, month after month, and year after year, that is required to prepare themselves for success.

You too, want to be successful. You want to be a big success in life. You want to develop your potential to the maximum. You want to be everything you are capable of becoming. You want to make all the money you possible can and enjoy the finest standards of living that you can achieve. You want to earn the esteem and appreciation of all those people around you whose opinions you care about. The way to be successful has never changed. Success requires preparation.

Preparation and Opportunity

Author and speaker, Earl Nightingale said that if a person does not prepare for his success, when the opportunity comes, it will only make him look foolish. Youve probably heard it said repeatedly that luck is what happens when preparedness meets opportunity.

It is only, when youve paid the price to be ready for your success that you will be in a position to take advantage of your opportunities, when they arise. And the most remarkable thing is this: The very act of preparation attracts to you, like iron fillings to a magnet, opportunities to use that preparation to advance your life. You’ll seldom learn anything of value, or prepare yourself in any area, without soon having a chance to use your new knowledge and your new skills to move ahead more rapidly.

See you in Part two of this write up as I write on what are the things to do in getting ready for Success.

TRUTH SERIES 34-REAL MONEY IS VALUE !

Hope you can still remember the guy who won 10million naira in the MTN Who wants to be a millionaire show? He got to the show with zero naira but He left with a 10 million naira ultimate cash prize. During the course of this write up ,I will remind you of the guy’s name and why was he able to win the 10million naira just like that within 30mins of sitting on the hot seat.

Meanwhile, Let me start by establishing this fact that everybody want money, but very few get it ,because only few have what it takes to make money.

Money is not what one pursue, it is what one attract- Fela Durotoye

By the way, what is money? It is a medium of exchange .It is a legal tender.
Lets take a trip back to history,Before the use of money. It is the Trade by Barter system that was in place, which is an exchange of one item to get another item which has the same proportion of value. E.g. 10 tubers of yam for 10 tubers of cassava, during that time, everyone must have something at hand to be exchange for another item from another person at any particular point in time.

What is then REAL MONEY? It is simply VALUE. It is not the paper note. It is intangible. It cannot be seen with the naked eyes. It cannot be touched. Value only be seen with the mind but it can be felt.

Life is indeed buying and selling, it is a natural law. So in life, to get real money, one must either have something of value or do something of value in terms of services. Value is an intangible resources or wealth which must be converted to tangible wealth.

Intangible wealth in form of value are

A, IDEAS
B,TALENTS
C,SKILLS
D,KNOWLEDGE

The guy who won the 10million Prize money on MTN show is Aroma Ufodike , He won the cash prize because there was an exchange, he knew something in terms of knowledge which is value. The value of what he knew helped him to win the 10million he won. He came there with his intangible wealth and exchanges it for MTN 10Million naira. So simple!

It may surprised you that what the yahoo yahoo boys, kidnappers, militants , armed robbers are looking for is real money but they don’t have something of value to earn it.

So to be relevant, beyond been employed you must have something of value ,which must be converted to a tangible wealth, by packaging it in a business plan, proposal ,services etc. then automatically real money will flow in your direction. See you at the top as you are on you way to make your millions. Discover something of value you can sell to your world today.I look forward to hear from you.
God bless you. God bless Nigeria !

TRUTH SERIES 33-MY NEW FRIEND

This week I will be sharing with you a conversation I engaged with my new friend, which we can all learn from. Some few weeks ago at the restaurant, I met a young man, a graduate of geography and town planning. I overheard this young man telling the guy sitting beside him that he is frustrated, he said how can I as a graduate not have a meaning job , at a point I don’t want to interfere in their conversation not until when he said ,even if he has opportunity to smuggle cocaine out of Nigeria, that he does not mind to be involve.

I can’t but share my thoughts with him that he does not need to be involved in such illegal act.

We engaged in the following conversation.

Unique seun: I ask my new friend , what if you are caught by NDLEA? He could not give a straight answer. I told him you will spend the rest of your life in jail, which is not the best for you.

My new friend: He said in this country that one need connection to make it but unfortunately , nobody is willing to help.

Unique seun: I agreed, but I ask how prepared are you for this connection? Hmm, He ponders on it for a while. I gave him a scenario, which goes thus, what if by chance you meet with the minister of housing. As a graduate of Town planning and Geography, what will you put before the minster? Do you have a business proposal? Do you have a business card? I told him an exchange must take place before he can get anything out of life.

My new Friend: I have an idea of rural housing Estates.

Unique seun: fine, have you put it in black and white?

My new friend: No, I have it on my head.

Unique seun: Hmmm, I told him point blank, you are not yet prepared, that what you have not put in black and white, you have not yet believe in it, and you cannot work on it or take action on it. I said the bible is so powerful because it is the written word of God and same goes for the constitution of any nation.

My new friend: Hmm, He nodded in agreement.

Unique seun: I said success only happens when preparation meets with opportunity. I told him, now that you are not yet employed, you have the greatest opportunity to sit down and think your way out of your present situation. I told him he has a great future ahead of him. That he just need an idea to access the wealth of the land.

First and foremost, I told my friend, he should never put money first in what ever he wants to embark on, because at first ,you will not always have enough to start something.I said this is the key, You need to ask yourself these sincere questions, What can I do well? What do I have passion for? What am I good at? What do I have now to get what I want ?

After about 35minutes of our discussion, my new friend was encouraged, he reversed the statement he earlier made that he will get himself involved in pushing cocaine. He admitted that he made the statement out of frustration, that now, I have helped him to see things in a new perspective and I have given him a new understanding. He thanked me and said I am God sent.

Dear reader, our words are powerful. We may not have all the money to give to people around us, but we have the power of life in our tongue. Let us watch out for people around us who are frustrated and discouraged, lets spend some few minutes with them and share some word of life with them. My new friend went away challenged and inspired to start something. I see my friend in the future becoming a CEO of a big corporation or a big businessman in Real estate business.Remember a candle loses nothing by lighting other candles.

TRUTH SERIES 33-OUR OPPORTUNITIES MUST BE EXPLORED

Let me now share with you what I delivered, I started with our opportunities must be explored. I started with a quote, Winston Churchill “A pessimist will always see difficulty in every opportunity, while an optimist will always see an opportunity in every difficulty.” I asked who are you? A pessimist or optimist. I proceeded by telling them Opportunities abound in Nigeria, that there are no green pastures any where, that it you that will determine to make a place a green pasture. I said unfortunately, why many of us are traveling out in frustration to seek for greener pastures, that foreign business men are coming in to tap into our opportunities to do business. A Yoruba sayings goes thus, nkon taw a lo si sokoto wa ni sokoto wa, meaning what we are looking afar of is within where we are. I said opportunity is all about discovering a need and providing services to meet that need, very simple as ABC, It is solving problems. But I told them, where many young people have challenges is that opportunities are not seen with naked eyes, they are only seen with the mind.

I made them realized that going to school is not to graduate and start looking for job, but the essence of going to school is to build one’s capacity to think to solve problems. I emphasized that there are no jobs for job seekers but only for problem solvers. I sound it clear that organization main goal is not to employ people but to meet some certain objectives; they only employ problem solvers to meet that set aims and objectives.

I challenge my audience that if we have enough problems and challenge them we have enough opportunities too. That our challenges are proportionally to the opportunities available. In US for instance, they have less societal problems, they have a good conducive environment, because most of their problems have been solved.

I highlighted 7 areas where they can tap into:

A, ICT

B, FOOD

C, ENTERTAINMENT

D, EDUCATION

E, LEADERSHIP AND VALUES

F, FASHION

G, AUTO MECHANICS

I hope I have been able to challenged you too by this write up, I want to hear from you. Don’t forget, Opportunity is all about discovering a need and meeting it,in doing so,money flow towards you.SEE U ON TOP.dreamnewnigeria@yahoo.com, 0803 443 8232,WATCH OUT FOR MY COLUMN IN THE NEWSPAPER SOON!

TRUTH SERIES 31-MOVE WITH UR CHEESE

Who moved my cheese by Spenser Johnson is one of the Life changing books I have ever read. It is a mini story like book of about 150 pages which one can finish in less than 3hrs and the impact is Life long, and I thought it well to share some vital Life lessons I learnt while reading the book. I first read the book in 2003 which I have read so many times.

The story is about four characters, Scurry and sniff are the mice, while the hem and haw is the little people. They face unexpected change when they discover their "Cheese" has disappeared .Each character behaves differently and responds to situation differently. Some of us act like exactly the way each of the character behaves. It is either you are a sniff, scurry, hem or haw.

Sniff- He sniffs out change early.

Scurry- Scurries into action.

Hem- He denies and resists change as he fears it will lead to something worse.

Haw-He learns to adapt on time when he sees changing can lead to something better.

CHEESE represent what we want or desire in life which could be a job, money, house, wealth, health, relationship and so on. Everyman desire to have a cheese. We need it because our happiness depends on it. approach to look for it.
Most times, cheese are not always where we think it should be, so we have to be determine to move ahead and take a new

MAZE represent where we look for what we want in life i.e. the CHEESE. Maze could also represent Life. We each live in a "Maze", a metaphor for the companies or organizations we work with, the communities we live in, the families we love places where we look for the things we want in life, In as much as everyman desire a cheese, it must be look for so as to get the good things of life which brings happiness and fulfillment

And how we look and where to get our cheese are different. Each individual determine the cheese he is looking for and where to find it. Failure to get our cheese in life could lead to frustration. Our character most times help us to locate on time where to get the cheese. When we get our cheese on time, we are refers to as been lucky or favour.

Like sniff and scurry in the story, they were able to locate the new cheese station ahead of others. But unfortunately for hem because of his character and attitude,it was difficult for him to locate the new CHEESE STATION. I pray that will not be our portion in the journey of life.

I need to quickly share 6 lessons I learnt while reading this life transforming book.

LESSON 1-HAVING A CHEESE MAKES YOU HAPPY.

LESSON2 – IF YOU DO NOT CHANGE, YOU CAN BECOME EXTINCT.

LESSON 3- OLD BELIEFS DO NOT LEAD ONE TO FIND NEW CHEESE.

LESSON 4- IT IS NATURAL FOR CHANGE TO CONTINUALLY OCCUR, WHEATHER YOU EXPECT IT OR NOT.

LESSON 5-WHEN YOU CHANGE WHAT YOU BELIEVE, YOU CHANGE WHAT YOU DO.

LESSON 6- LET GO OF THE PAST AND ADAPT TO THE PRESENT.

Above all, I highly recommend this book for you, this is one book that will help you to adapt to change ,with =N=500 or less you can get a copy, and I bet it with you ,it will give you a new approach in life to develop a positive change attitude to get the next cheese you desire in life.

You may be asking, who moved my cheese? Oh it is no more there, While asking, you have got to MOVE AHEAD TO LOCATE THE NEW CHEESE STATION.

ACCESSING THE NATIONAL WEALTH LEGITIMATELY

Moreover the profit of the land is for all-Ecclesiastes 5:9a

WHAT YOU MUST KNOW

A, Nigeria has a National Cake, like every country on earth; it is called the National wealth.

Every Nigerian deserved a Portion of the National Cake, but sadly only very few get it.

B, The National cake is to make the entire citizen Prosper.

C, Only less than 8% of the population i.e only about 11million out of 140million Nigerians has access or benefited from the national cake mostly politicians and Govt/public office holders.

D, Earning salary as an employee is a least means of benefitting from the National cake.

E, You too is entitle to a portion of the National cake and you can access it legitimately.

F, You must have something to exchange or trade with to access the National wealth.

g, Nigeria is not Poor, Nigerian has a national Wealth.

h,Many Nigerians travel out in frustration to seek wealth in another Land, because they believe they cannot access the wealth of their fatherland.

I,THERE IS A PORTION OF THE NATIONAL WEALTH FOR YOU.

WHAT YOU MUST DO.

There must be something you must do to access the National wealth; it does not come on a platter of Gold. Ponder on this scenerio, Lets us assume ,by chance you meet with the minister of Youth or even President Jonathan face to face for 5mins, what will you present before him? Because these are People who are in custody of some wealth of Nigeria .

Do you have any idea to share with them?

Do you have any business idea or proposal to present?

Do you have a solution to share to solve a National Problem?

Have you discover any opportunities the country can tap into?

Do you have a business plan?

TRUTH SERIES 29-THE NATIONAL CAKE,PART 1

God is Nigerian enough to bless the country with the world’s 10th largest proven crude oil reserves and the 7th largest proven reserve base of natural gas .Nigeria is about the 12th largest producer of crude oil in the world and the 8th largest exporter. Nigeria has the best weather condition through out the year coupled with large expanse of arable land for Agriculture. All these shows that Nigeria is one of the richest countries in the world .But unfortunately majority of Nigerians are just potentially rich, larger percentage live below poverty line. I don’t want to use the word the poorest people because we are not poor; we are potentially rich because the country wealth is enough to go round.

Let us start this way with this analogy. An heir of a wealthy late father is entitle to some of his inheritance? I guess your answer is yes. Ok let us move on. By virtue of you being born in Nigeria, naturally you are a citizen by birth and Nigeria becomes your fatherland. I hope I am right and correct?

Ok let us come from another angle. Come to think of it ,millionaires and billionaires around the world ,people like Bill Gates, warren buffet, Richard Brandson, aliko Dangote ,Jimoh Ibrahim etc one thing they have in common is that they came to this world with nothing and they were not born with silver spoon but at a point in their lives ,they accessed the portion of their country’s wealth because they were doing something and people are paying for it.

Hmmm, interesting they were doing something, hope you are also pondering, like I am too. Lets move on, let me share some things you must know about the National cake. I will put you through in my next write up on how to assess the National wealth. There is a portion you must access, after all the profit of the earth is for all.see u next week.

Thank you so much for reading this write up.I will appreciate your comments.

TRUTH SERIES 28-THE PARABLE OF THE TREES

As I was pondering over what to write on this week. I remembered a story in the book of judges 9:8-15.Which I think I need to share with my readers. It is a great message on Leadership, Values and service.

There was a time that all the trees decided to make one of their own, king over them. The trees then went ahead to the Olive tree to request of him to be their leader. He replied and said “Should I leave my fatness which is used to honor God and man”. They further went to meet the Fig tree whose reply was the same as the Olive tree. On and on they went moving from vine and fig trees to seek their opinion on the issue, but all had same response to give.

It was only the Bramble tree that had a different response out of all the tress that was approached, he decided to take up the position of the king, with the condition that he has to be served by all and whosoever refuses to serve him will be dealt with accordingly.

LESSONS LEARNT

The olive, fig and Olive trees had the following in common:

A, They were already adding value to God and man.

B, They exhibited leadership qualities.
C, They were proffering services especially in their area of call.

D, They were meeting needs.

The bramble tree on the other side had the following characteristics:

A, The bramble tree wasn’t adding any value to God and man. (The bramble is a thorny short plant that only produce fire to terrify and consume other trees).

B, The bramble tree wanted every other tree to subject to his authority, He was a dictator and a ruler and not a leader

C, The bramble tree wanted other trees to come under him, as such limiting their abilities to his own abilities.

I believe you can learn a great lesson from this story about Leadership and service. The bramble attitude is a typical example of what goes on in our nation and in the Africa continent. We define leadership with Position and Title as against Service and Value adding. We believe that it is until when we are given a title or position that we can lead appropriately, whereas the essence of leadership is service which the Vine, Fig and Olive trees all exhibited.

The Vine, Fig and Olive trees provided something that is useful to both man and God, where as the bramble is not adding any value. He is selfish and only wants to intimidate other trees like most African Leaders do.

Remember leadership is about adding values and meeting needs through creative and productive thinking. Are you providing any services? Are you meeting any need? Are you solving any problem? If yes, then you are already a leader in your field. Very soon, you will find yourself in a Leadership Position. SEE U AT THE TOP.

TRUTH SERIES 27; WE ARE INEXCUSABLE !

Most times, we find ourselves making comments as follows

EXCUSES
• The Government is bad, they are thieves. • It’s about you.
• I have no capital to start with • Start with what you have.
• There are no Jobs. • Create one
• I don’t know How • Browse the internet.
• I am not educated. • Go to school
• I am a Nigerian. • It does not matter
• I don’t have money.• • No, but you have something.
• I am not recognized.• • Recognize yourself, Be relevant.
• There is no time.• • 24hrs is enough.
• I am not computer Literate.• • Get trained.
• There is always power failure. • Look for an alternative

These statements are often made because we are unable to achieve or attain something we know and believe we ought to, or somebody we ought to have become.

It’s so amazing that our generation is so good at making excuses to justify our not been able to maximize our potentials and abilities to the fullest. Some times we make excuses to justify our inability to respond to what we have failed to do. Whenever you hear yourself making any of the above excuses, you know deep down inside of you that you are not been sincere with yourself. The truth of the matter is that you lack the WILL POWER and in some cases the problem of not wanting to extend outside your comfort zone, for instance, if you constantly give excuses about not knowing how to go about a particular situation, then it is most likely that you are unwillingly to learn how to. After all, you learnt how to crawl, eat, talk, and other basic things we know to do now.

Making statement like the Government is bad, is not a veritable reason not to utilize your potentials in contributing your own quota towards National growth and transformation, its all about YOU, and what you have and need to give and not about the government alone. It is not about your skin colour, or your origin, it is your content that matters. We need to know that Black colored balloon too go up if it is filled with air.

WE HAVE ALL IT TAKES

Our generation is so blessed with so many resources like the internet, mobile phones, facebook, laptops, blackberry, twitter and so on which we can use to advantage. We just have all what it takes to achieve all what we need to achieve and maximize our Potential.

In this 21st century, we can learn any thing we want to learn under the earth with just a click on the internet .We can connect with just anybody anywhere in the world through face book. We can read any book on the internet to get adequate knowledge to solve problems. We are inexcusable!

We should Stop manufacturing excuses start manufacturing solutions, ideas to be relevant. Until we stop making excuses, we won’t be able to make any meaningful impact.
Hope u enjoy this series,Have a great day ! reach me on 08034438232, dreamnewnewnigeria@yahoo.com

TRUTH SERIES 26- MAKING A NAME: CREATE SOMETHING

"Come; let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves

In the beginning God created…God being our creator has created us in His own image and after His likeness so as such we have the same potentials like Him too to create. I have used the word POTENTIAL because most people sadly enough in their life time could not discover this innate power resident in them and as such they could not make a name for themselves in their life time. But today, I want to put it to you that you have all that it takes inside of you to begin to think and act like a creative person as God Has made you irrespective of your background, skin color, educational qualification etc.

The Power to create lies in our ability to imagine. You need to sharpen your imaginative skill constantly if you want what we desire in life to come into manifestation, things don’t just happen like that, it starts in our imagination. Let us do a short exercise, some names are listed below, who comes to your mind when they are mentioned:

A, Virgin Atlantic
B, DAAR Communications
C, Microsoft
D, Covenant University
E, Silver bird
F, chair centre
G, Ovation.

I hope you guess right. We can see that for each of the above named brands, an individual name comes to mind. This goes to show that these people have made a name for themselves from their brands. They have created something that was not in existence before now. They have imagined something from the realm of the invisible to become visible. For instance, MICROSOFT is Bill Gates, Bill Gates is Microsoft, his real name and his brand name can be used interchangeably. Microsoft did not exist before until Bill Gates imagined it from the invisible world and brought it to the visible world.

After the creation of Heaven and earth, the Towel of Babel is another story that depicts how far imagination can be turned into reality. The men said, “Come let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly, and they had brick for stone and bitumen for mortar”. Before that time, bricks were not in existence, what we had was stone, but they were able to imagine how bricks can be turned into stones.

There are thousands of things still missing in our environment, which someone, some where have to imagine and work on to make it a reality. It could be an invention, an idea, an organization, a book, a product, a business idea, a software program etc. These men building a towel interrupted God’s agenda in heaven, because of what they have imagined and were about to create. God had to come down and see the progress of the city and the tower they were building. I am persuaded that God Himself was amazed at their innovation.

I challenge you today to activate the power of your imagination, and I can assure you that the sky will be your stepping stone not even your limit……….IF YOU CAN IMAGINE IT,THEN YOU CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN.

TIPS TO MAKE YOU A CREATIVE INDIVIDUAL

1 Do not despise any thoughts that drop in your mind, write it down and take action.
2 create time to think.
3 Rub minds and associate with people that make things happen.
4 Read books and magazines that will motivate you to imagine
5 Be sensitive to your environment.
6 Always implement and work on what your mind has conceived.
7 Believe in yourself, even if no one else does.

Your response and comments will be appreciated .thanks.

TRUTH SERIES 25- IT’S IN YOU

These treasures are hidden in earthen vessels- 2 Corinthians 4v 7

It’s in you, you just have to dig deep and be at the top of your game -KANU NWANKWO in Peak Milk Advert

Everyone has muscles, only those who exercise theirs become visible. Your muscles in this case refers to your gifts. Most times we acknowledge what others have but unconsciously we fail to acknowledge and recognize what is deposited in us. Often times we say

-José mourinho is one of the best coaches.

-Obama is world best leader and orator.

-NICE is Africa best hip hop star.

-messi is a good dribbler.

-Drogba is Africa best striker.

-YOU IS ...........?

-what about YOU? What are you saying about yourself? What are people saying about you? What do people know you for?

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. -Philemon 1 verse 6

There is a good thing in every man, but it can only be effective when we discover and acknowledge it. Like kanu Nwankwo said, we just have to look with us and dig deep to discover and bring out what we have within us. The key is self inventory, it’s time for you to look with in, we have been looking around, we have been looking up to our environment and the Government, and the outcome has been disappointments and discouragement.

I encourage you today to look within to discover and exercise those gifts. IT WILL TAKE YOU TO THE TOP OF YOUR GAME. Don’t be limited or shortsighted by your educational certificate i.e. B.SC, B eng, LLB, B .Ed, PHD ETC).Take a journey within and tap into the treasures God has deposited inside you. Remember Joseph gift made him appear before the King, David gift promote him from the far back to the Top. SEE U ON TOP.

TRUTH SERIES 24: WHAT IS YOUR VISION?

28 "
I will pour out my Spirit on all people.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,
your old men will dream dreams,
your
young men will see visions.-JOEL 2 V 28

We are in the last days, what visions are you seeing? What vision are you seeing for yourself, community and Nigeria as a whole? The young men in Joel 2 v 28 refers to both young man and woman.

We live in times and seasons to catch a vision to create the future, and not to complain or Siddons look.

What is vision? Vision is the ability to see a picture of a desired picture within the mind and taking responsibility to make it a reality.

-vision is the ability to see beyond now or today.

-vision is the ability to see into the future.

- Vision is the Picture you are seeing within.

The power of a Positive vision is the most forceful motivator for change for success, an individual, organization and nations possess.

In spite of numerous challenges facing us as a nation, the power of vision will make you as an individual to be committed towards achieving a Positive Noble cause.

Proverbs 29:18 says, "Where there is no vision, the people perish."

Vision preserves the future and give the people hope. But where there is no vision, the people die, cry and goes hungry, which is the situation that is happening in so many African countries because the Leaders lacks vision. Africa is in dire need of Visionary Leaders. Vision is what makes a Leader .It is a virtue of a Leader. People follows a Leader, the Leaders follows the Vision.

I challenge you today to catch a vision for yourself and Nigeria. Nigeria needs people like you and I who can see beyond Now. People who can create the Future. The power of vision motivated the Wright brothers to overcome disappointment and failure and build a flying machine. It motivated a small, unrefined, motley group of 12 men to change the world. They caught the vision of their leader, Jesus, and set the whole course of history.

I urge you to do the ff,

Believe in your Vision

PROTECT YOUR VISION

WRITE YOUR VISION

WORK OUT YOUR VISION

SET GOALS FOR YOUR VISION

SHARE YOUR VISION

TALK YOUR VISION

PICTURE YOUR VISION

See you in the future as catch a Vision and develop enough Passion to make it a reality.
