⁷ Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.”-Nehemiah 2 v17

Happy 52^nd Independence Anniversary to the good and great people of Nigeria. Its so obvious that things are falling apart for our dear nation.

It look as if the labour of our heroes past is beginning to be in vain. It looks as if the Prediction of Nigeria becoming a fail state by 2015 is gradually becoming real. 

Like in the case of broken wall of Jerusalem , we  have a lots of samballant and Tobiahs who camouflage as Govt officials but they are anti Govt.They are never happy about any policies that will move the nation forward ,thay are anti Government (Neh 2v 10)

But there is hope for us .Nigeria is our Jerusalem .We must rise as Nehemiah and call other  in our sphere of influence to arise and build .We can become a Producing Nation again,We can become the Giant of Africa Again,Our Glory in sports can return again .I can see us leading Africa to lime light. You and I Must Arise And Quit The Blame game, Playing the blame game for so long has not taken us further .we really don’t need a position or Leadership title to act or a political party platform to take charge .Two things we need, Passion and courage. We must be passionate and courageous enough to do what God has put in our heart to do for Nigeria.

Can we imagine a South Africa without Nelson Mandela? I have a deep conviction that we have many Mandelas in our nation. Its time for us to arise and rebuild and not lament. We will not be discourage and distracted by what the sanballants and Tobias of Nigeria are doing in form of bombings, they are fighting a battle they will never win.

Arise O compatriots ,in our sphere of influence ,let us beacon to others to arise and build .We must’s  do the same thing, but different  actions that will complement the ultimate mission of making Nigeria great again.

There is a book you can write, there is someone you can correct to do the right thing,there is a song you can sing, there is a life you can touch .what matters most is that  you are doing that very thing God has laid in your heart to do for Nigeria, like Nehemiah ,we will get there, one step at a time, brick upon brick our Jerusalem call Nigeria will be built again. Let us be encourage by the song of TY Bello titled “The Future’’ We are the nation .We are part of this .Yes we are so amazing. How can they say that we are finished, we have just begun. God bless Nigeria.

ACTING OUR PART IN LIFE 

With  heaviness of heart. I am writing this write up in memory of Pastor Akin Olumodeji of House on the Rock ,Abuja .Though I have not met Pastor in person before Passed on. I only saw his name on the manifest of the Dana Air Crash.

The service that was held in his memory last week prompted me to write these few lines. Though, I was not physically present at the programme but I watched a clip of the Program on NTA News. And what thrilled me on the short clip was when the video of the last message Pastor Akin preached in the church, my faith leap and I give God praise for the kind of Life He lived, for the first time I saw him in the video and He ministered to me even while he is no more.

A lot of lessons to be learnt, I was able to watch Pastor Akin because he Acted his part in Life .We are all Actors in life. To live our life as actors in life we make us to remember for something. Pastor Akin wont forgotten so soon, I learnt he was one of the brains behind THE EXPEREINCE, popular Gospel show which has hosted many local and foreign Gospel artistes.

A woman of God I still hold in high esteem even after her death 6 years ago was also a victim of a Plane crash. Till now still impact life through the singles and married Programme on Television Stations. She acted her part in life within the shortest time she lived.

The time to act is now .God has given each of us Grace to do a unique thing in Life. And heaven keeps record of every of our actions on earth.

Can you imagine your funeral? Can you imagine what people will say after you are no more? People will talk about the part you acted in Life.To discover the part you are born to play in life, I will encourage you to read this life changing book-titled- THE PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE BY RICK WARREN

The best way to act our part in life is to pour our life into others. The great investment in life is in people. The greatest man whoever lived, Jesus Christ acted his part in life, what about you? Your script is waiting for you to be acted on by only you. You may never know your  last moment on earth you have the opportunity to act.

May souls of Pastor Akin Olumodeji  and  others who died in the Plane crash rest in Peace. Amen

YOU NEED AN IDEA

Have you ever imagine yourself been a millionaire .You can be one in 2012. I mean you can hit it big time. All you need is a million dollar idea. What is that one thing you can ask God for in 2012? ………………… Could it be a brand new car, A visa to U.S, An admission to HARVARD,A job in a multinational company etc

If there is anything you can ask God for is to give you an IDEA and the ability to make it a reality. Joseph did it; he presented a million dollar idea in form of a Proposal to Pharaoh on how to preserve grains for the next 14 years. The king bought into it and Joseph life experience a turn around.

One morning, I tune to silver bird T.V, low and behold I saw Mr. Ben Bruce talking about His Proposal to the Government title THE BEN BRUCE PLAN: Subsidizing the Poor, A $500 million intervention fund for Transport. He is just asking the F.G to invest $500 Million Accrue from the Subsidy to the Transport System which will make Taxi/Bus Drivers’ owners of Taxis/Buses. So I now understand why People like Mr. Ben Bruce are on top of their Game in the society because they have an IDEA. What is your idea? What can you propose to the Ministry/Government to partake of the Subsidy fund or the Budget?

Do you already have an IDEA? Never ever despise it. This year provides you another opportunity to sell it to Potentials investors like F.G, Ministries, State Governors, Local Govt. Chairmen, YOUWIN- www.youwin.org.ng , commissioners, C.E.Os, School Owners etc. Have you ever thought that FACEBOOK is someone IDEA? Mark imagined it, He worked on it and become a reality and He is a Billionaire. Your IDEA is one thing that can connect to you to your fortune in Life.

By the way what is an IDEA? First Think Of The Heaven And Earth. You know what, its God’s idea. Heaven and Earth has never existed before, God created it.

An IDEA is a New Innovative way of doing something or a products or services that is new, faster, better or smaller and can add value. Four things are common to every IDEA, it must be original, it must create value, solve problems and people can pay for it.

Think and pray to get a million dollar worth of IDEA in this New Year.

Remember, No matter how hard you pray for blessing or breakthrough, the best God can do for you is to drop an idea in your mind.

2012-NO LONGER BUSINESS AS USUAL

Only an insane person will keep on doing the same thing and expects the different thing.

Welcome to a New Year. If the Year is indeed new, then something has to be New, Different or change. It Can’t Be Business As Usual

In a New Year ,everybody desire to experience something new and better in terms of blessings, good standard of living, more money, Promotion, Progress and more. You can bear me witness that life could be boring when all these benefits are missing. But the irony of it is that not many will want to do something new differently to achieve a Different result. This write up is to challenge you to do or start something new in this NEW Year and Also to back Up Your expectations with more commitment. Truly there are no new expectations; it’s just the commitment that is not enough.

Sincerity to yourself this year is a criteria needed to make this year a rewarding one.

Below are 8 QUESTIONS YOU MUST ASK YOURSELF that will help you:

1, How best can I Please or Serve my maker i.e God?

2. What bad habits do I need to replace with good ones?

3. How can I make, manage and save more money?

4. How do I disciple, impact or be a blessing to someone around?

5. What can I do for God that I have not done before?

6. What steps, Actions do I need to take in 2012 that I did not take in 2011?

7. What can I do to personally develop myself e.g. reading, more education, computer skills etc?

8. What areas of knowledge do I need to acquire e.g. finance, spiritual, relationship, marriage etc?

9. Do I have set GOALS? If YES are they S.M.A.R.T GOALS?

After you have answered these questions within the first 2 months of 2012 so as to help you reposition you to take advantage of every opportunities the year will be offering you. I pray that 2012 will be one of your best years.
